The D.C. Entertainment and Sports Arena is located at 1100 Oak Drive SE, Washington, D.C.. This building is going to serve as the practice facility for the Washington Wizards as well as the home court for the Washington Mystics. This is a fast paced project with construction beginning in June 2017 and substantial completion intended for August 2018. This report consists of the three analysis topics that were proposed for the project consisting of prefabricating the metal panel system, additional BIM implementation early on in the project, and adding an additional floor to the practice facility. This report also contains the critical industry topic that was research which focused on addressing the shortage in the workforce and training the local work force. 

While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work‐in progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Lindsay Smith. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.
